A slightly difference Chinese New Year

Without noticing is already the 7th day of Chinese New Year...
And lectures and test are arriving soon...

Indeed .. I have had my CNY... but in a different way compare to years before...
or at least is a kinda different

On the first day.... I actually went down town to times square with my bros...
To my surprise ... there are quite a number there. KL is not empty..
over the years... more and more people are in KL during CNY holidays...
I can still recall... about 10 or 15 year ago when i was a small kid...KL is EMPTY during CNY.... you can practically lie on the road and no car will run over you...
But...look at now.... it is so different (just for those who dont know.. I am pure KL breed.. my family originate from KL as well)
So, what did we do there in Times 1 ? We went there for a movie.. duh..chose the wrong movie to watch on the first day of CNY.. we watched

Definately not the right movie for CNY.. If u know the story line...

Never watched a movie on the first day of CNY for quite some time and .. this is what i watched.. no comments..

Then there come 2nd day..well kinda the same visiting my mom side of the family.. everything was kinda normal... not much difference

Without noticing.. here comes 3rd....day...

This time is different.... no visiting houses like what me and my form5 classmates do everyyear... oh my god. the streak of 5 years painin session stopped... But we had something new.. we went for our own "reunion" dinner..

i must indeed say.. not bad the food there... puas juga makan there... :)

after dinner.... they had a little game of.. wat we call... Blackjack (sorry.. cant display any pics here.... hehe..else they might end up in jail or bald..)

After tat.... out of sudden.. we went for a midnight show.. we watched....

Things just get weirder on the 4th day.. I went to low yat plaza to help my friend buy a new comp... (let me restress this .. on the 4th Day of CNY).. almost all shop were closed except this particular shop.. so .. lucky them.. the RM3K is for them to grab...

You think this is weird to do on 4th day of CNY.. wait till you read on..

I went back to my uni that night as well... (4th day CNY .. and i m in Uni spending a night there)... wooohooo.... online alone in pusanika somemore..hehe

5th day?... Of coz still in uni..woke up and went to meet K.....who just arrived from B......* . Teman him and the rest for half a day.... "without knowing".. i left them and i went to ...D's place.... gosh.... tiba tiba i giler and went over to his place... must be sick i guess..anyway.. thanks for having me in your house D.. :)

At night.. boom.. i was back with the gang and K.. we went putrajaya... ok.. i m still fascinated with the view there.. although i have been there.. numerous times...

hmm.... so many thing.. so lazy to tell.. want to know more ask me...

Conclusion.. i had a different CNY this year...

btw : i am back at home now :)

GONG XI FA CAI

It's here finally... it is chinese new year...
People.. Happy Chinese New Year....

a celebration which everyone gain in everything....
money..(of coz.. angpow)
cloths (people bbuy new cloths maa...)
weight (eat alot ..eat alot...... oh.. i am eating my "ba kua" as i blog)

Although dont feel the "gong xi" sangat already this year.. but i will keep the spirit up..

Another Busy Week..

Well....

It was again another busy week..was all over the place doing all sort of stuff..
Cant really remember how many meals i skipped...
My phone inbox can stop receiving sms...
Phone calls coming in... at times...every 15 minutes someone will call me...during lab..

But good thing is I am still alive...
Yesterday, i just "finish" my "event"..
Everything went through smoothly.. .and this is all thanks to my OCs...
Really appreciate every extra effort they put in... You guys make me feel like the journey has just begun to be more fun together...

And i must never forget ....my friends who spare their entire day to help me..
Really would like to thank Sch,Tv,JH,HY,CW,SW for being there to offer their help..

oh ya.. not to forget F and V for being the "guest".. :)

FIREWORKS display every night

Fireworks... originally discovered and made by the chinese civilisation...

has evolve through the years and is displayed everywhere around the world....

The awesome fireworks display we often see everywhere.... requires alot of work behind it for the setup... (maths is highly involve i believe.. sigh)

We as Malaysian usually get the opportunity to witness fireworks display.. .(proper ones... not those.. release by personal aclaimed pyrotechnicians).. during special occasion like new year or national day

BUT for the pass 1 month.. there are firework display everynight at taman tasik titiwangsa where Eye On Malaysia is located.... EVERY NIGHT

I was lucky enough to have actually have a panoramic view of it from my house..
So i decided to record tonight a portion of the firework display and share with everyone.. :) (click on the picture to see the video)

On a weekend...

After trying to squeez some time out...

Finally I was able to go do some "shopping" today... at Times Square..
(well .. i havent shop for CNY yet...)

I dragged my bro along there just for a second opinion on stuff...

After walking about 5 floors of times square... notice there aren't many choices for me... (need something that is not so stricking in colour.. for some reason... sorry cant disclose here)..
Soon bro gave his bright idea.. Just go to SUB...



since they usually only have black and white... so no need to think so much there.. can just choose anything from there that we think is nice..
spend about 45 minutes there... seeing this.. seeing that.. calculating this ..calculating that....

Well in the end.. lets just say.. we left the outlet.. with quite some stuff.. :)

After that... wait what.. we do what we do best... go low yat plaza of course..
Heard that Microsoft is launching Vista there...


We went in and wow... really amaze with what Windows Vista can do..
and I am sure.. i do make the promoter/demostrator/ whatever they call themselves ...enjoy their work..
At least .. I was asking questions... and of quality questions..They really show their skill with Vista...

Well too bad my notebook cant support the full feature of Vista.. else i should go get it.. looks so cool!!!

That is how i spent one of my few weekends not in UKM.. :)
